Interior Designers in Denver CO Redesign Aspen Ski In/Out House
The owners of a 1980’s ski in/out slope side house in Aspen CO decided their home needed a makeover, so they looked at interior designers in Denver CO and Runa Novak, an award winning designer from In Your Space interior design.
Before
The exterior stone was in good shape overall, but needed some work as well as cleaning
The brown accent for the windows and the doors dated the house
The exterior landscape needed work
There was a hot tub in an odd location and the miniature house you can see in the ‘before’ photograph is where the mechanical for the hot tub was housed
The property looked very unkempt
The exterior stone was cleaned and areas repaired as required
The 80’s windows were replaced with floor to ceiling storefront windows with black frames
Runa replaced the stained glass window that ran between two floors along the staircase with clear glass
She replaced the doors in the patio with Weiland stacking sliding doors, so they could be opened completely
The lower level windows and all the trim on the house were painted black
Some of the overgrown trees were cut down so that the slopes would be more visible and the house looked more kempt
The hot tub was relocated to the new exterior patio to the left of the house
Main floor – Replaced and expanded the deck and added custom black powder coated metal railing
